Before 2003 our company never even thought of using surge protection. We had experienced costly equipment failure and downtime on a number of occasions that were attributed to lightning so we decided to look for a solution that would ease our pain.

AutoZone recently tasked Cylix to perform what we call a "black surge connector" that is used to protect the data going to and from our point of sale registers in over 2,100 AutoZone stores. Each of our stores has at least three registers that, of course, require clean information. Cylix enthusiastically produced a sample of the connector and in turn AutoZone has ordered 4,000 units.

Since changing from our previous vendor to Cylix our failure rate for black surge connectors has gone from 10-20% per order to less than 1%. Thanks to my Cylix phone-line surge protector I still have a modem, computer and printer.

Yesterday, we took a lightening hit that knocked out the phone line, stopped at the surge protector. Today, the phone company said that considerable damage occurred to the line. I assume that the same thing would have happened to my equipment if I had not had your surge protector.

The other thing I appreciate is your guarantee. I have had four other phone-line surge protectors destroyed. I am really glad I finally bought one that I really trust and that is backed by your excellent guarantee.

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with our recent experience with tech support. Sam Alami and his team were very helpful both in troubleshooting and resolution of my problem. Currently, I have 21 of your PCH 24 100 mb panels in service and have had only one problem, which was taken care of in one phone call.

I am writing to inform you that Cylix MTJ-02G/R11 modem protector worked on our modem that communicates with our Norand Computer Equipment. The location that uses your product had a bad storm which took a hit from lightening. Coca-Cola uses a hand-held microcomputer that needs to be uploaded very night for sales information about that day and downloaded every night for sales information for the next day. Your product saved a technician from going to the location the night of the storm and also saved the modem.

I am most pleased to tell you about my complete satisfaction. Coca-Cola will now be looking into purchasing additional Modem Protectors for the remaining sites that we support.

Cylix makes customized RS-422 Surge Protectors are used by Northern Telecom in CDMA Base Station Controller System to protect some external long RS-422 links. This type of equipment is used by some of the big PCS service providers as Sprint PCS, AirTouch and others.

We are very pleased with a performance of these parts and with a very fast and correct response to build customized parts which meet our requirements.
